• En parejas: crear una conversación para presentar en clase sobre un viaje a Mérida, Mexico.
• You are going to visit you best friend from Mexico for a week during summer vacation.  Your friend lives in Mérida, Mexico, where it is very hot and humid during the summer.  Your friend has already told you some plans: 
• visit Mayan ruins nearby
• spend time with friends
• go to the beach in Cancún for two days
• Are you prepared to go?
• Have a phone conversation talking about what you have done to get ready and what you still have to do.
• Use the preterite and direct object pronouns in your presentation!!
• You will be graded on the following:
• completion and coherence of task
• speaking clearly and naturally
• correct use of grammar
• variety of vocabulary used
• fecha de presentación: el viernes, 4 de enero

- Artista del Milenio: habla 2 minutos y graba en video quién crees que debe ser el artista del milenio.  Puede ser artista, cantante, autor, bailarín, poeta, etc.  Dinos quién es, de dónde es, como fue su vida antes de ser famoso, etc.  Enseña una obra suya y explícanos qué es y porque te gusta.
